I am getting really pissed off with all this Virus crap.
Is there any aspect of life that isn’t governed by their petty little rules and regulations?
I notice that there is a distinct air of suspicion when I am out and about. People are steering clear of each other and giving suspicious glances at strangers. It is becoming ingrained in the public psyche to distrust everyone.
I suppose the biggest irritant is the level of compliance and the willingness to obey the little edicts which seem to grow by the day. People are wearing their face nappies as a gesture to signify how they are Good Little Citizens even when there is no need whatsoever. Down in the village yesterday the majority were wearing their nappies as they strolled around the place in the open air. My one consolation was that the vast majority of them would have crossed county boundaries to get here, against current restrictions. Locals at least had more sense.
There is the relentless bombardment of propaganda on radio and television. A drop in the number of so called victims is usually announced with the caution that things will get worse again if we don’t behave ourselves. It doesn’t matter what channel I switch to on the television, the HSE seems to have got there before me with their endless mantra about “social distancing”, nappy wearing and how to recognise the symptoms of the Virus as if we didn’t fucking know by now. Motorway signs are still imploring us to stay at home and save the front line workers.
The latest is the announcement today is that people in old folks and nursing homes are to be actually “allowed” one visitor a week. Just one visitor? A week? For fucks sake! This is beyond inhumane.
For months now the daily “death rate” is hovering at or just above zero. This is such an embarrassment to the health mob that they now have to give us monthly figures as well to make things sound worse. Of course they claim that the low rates are due to our “wonderful compliance”, ignoring the possibility that the Virus has just run its course and has become just a normal flu. What I would like to see is the excess mortality figures but they wouldn’t dare give those as those figures would likely show that the current death rate is perfectly normal for the time of year.
It would be interesting if they just overnight decided to abandon all their doom and gloom. Disband the team of “health experts”. Remove all the restrictions and laws. Tear down all their irritating signs. Return life to the way it should be. Blend the Virus statistics in with the normal flu that normally does its rounds at this time of year. I would wager that there would be little difference, apart from the nervous breakdowns amongst those who frantically believe in the whole panic.
But when did Nanny ever take a step back?
And lo, the vaccine came and pollies and media were ecstatic. The alchemists waxed rich.
The proles will suck it up.
And then, the evil covid will be driven from the land and the pollies will be worshipped for their wisdom and benevolence. Selflessly, the wise ones will deny themselves and their families the benefits of the wonder elixir until others have been modified. And the proles sill fall down in gratitude.
Well that is the plan.

That is beyond disgusting. The care home should be shut down instantly.
The geeks are having their 15mins of fame and are milking it and prolonging it as much as they can, whilst the 'authorities' are revelling in the fact that vast numbers can be rendered totally and unquestioningly compliant and obedient with just the application of a little bit of divisive yet unfounded fear.
And that's without seeking a deeper, darker, hidden agenda.

Personally, I admit to steering well clear of, and giving the odd suspicious glance in the direction of, anyone wearing the gubbimint-mandated face-nappy in the open air – as distinct from while in shops, pharmacies, trains and the like. I assume such a person to be so paralysed by either anxiety or propagandised by the idiot tube that I don't want them in my orbit. Ideally, I don't want to be on the same planet as them, but I can't fix that for the time being.
I’d give them suspicious glances myself except there are too many. I don’t mind them that much in shops but in the open air? That’s sheer neurosis.
