Why is it any of their fucking business?
Why are they concerned that we might undervalue our properties? They seem to be worried about the “self assessment” bit so obviously they want us to be told what our homes are worth? God forbid that we may find a way to avoid paying what we don’t owe.
They seem to overlook the fact that we don’t pay our taxes to Europe, so Europe has no fucking business sticking its nose into how we pay or what we pay.
They now want a “comprehensive register of updated property values”. This comes on top of a demand for a comprehensive list of septic tanks. Why do they want all these comprehensive lists? Are they creating an inventory? Is this a stock-taking exercise? Are the people of Europe nothing more than items on a spread sheet, to be milked at will?
What has a comprehensive register of updated property values got to do with creating a European cooperative trading area?

Why don’t the people of this country – in particular the Lisbon Yes Voters – wake up to the fact that the European Union is nothing more than a gigantic parasitic leech? We may have gained some grants in the early days but they were mere sweeteners to entice us into the abattoir. Their currency destroyed the country and now all they are concerned with is how to milk us for every last cent we have.

One of the comments on that article states: "There is a march on 13 April at 12.30 in Dublin to Dublin castle." Be very interesting to see how many sheeple turn up to protest. Not many I bet.

Now that would be a document worth creating. Register their incomes, perks, backhanders and conflicts of interest?
All this need for more and more money might (just 'might' mind) be related to the fact that the EU ( not the Countries, ignore them. We're talking the Organization here) is 217 BILLION Euros in debt?
