Smoking is far more lethal than previously thought — 15 Comments

  1. I can't be sure, but it seems to me that Supershadow has indeed been "smoking" (for medicinal reasons of course). Either that, or he's been watching too many sci-fi movies – or both.

    • Too many Star Trek Star War films.  I would love to know how many times he has watched them but he seems to somehow believe they are real.  I just hope he never gets hooked on the Lethal Weapon series, else none of us would be safe.

  2. Does he mean polar bears or Tribbles?

And I’d love to see the film hero wheelchair with the rocket launchers and rotating cannons and stuff

  3. What i want to know is how does tobacco smoke manage to get into the ionosphere where it causes oh so much damage, yet the constant above ground nuclear testing programme in the 50’s and 60’s presumably just disappeared ? Don’t let the Kremlin know otherwise every dissident will have smoke blown over them from a smoker assassin.OMG where will this end, complete annihilation of the human species (and antis).

    • What I want to know is whether he actually believes all this stuff.  How do you calculate that 300 puffs of cigarette smoke can kill a Polar Bear?  Nuclear weapons, forest fires and volcanoes are apparently nothing compared to tobacco smoke? Can he seriously believe what he is writing?

      • " Now let's see.  I have never counted how many puffs I take in a day, but we will assume around a hundred?  So every day, I massacre three Polar Bears."

Don't be so hard on yourself GD. At 100 puffs per day, you massacre only one Polar Bear every three days. Therefore, you save six Polar Bears every three days. You are good for the environment. Don't let this guy's deception get to you.

        • Damn!  My maths has gone to pot.  You're right – I massacre one every three days, but at around a billion [or two] smokers in the world, that's about 240 billion bears each year?  That's quite a lot?  There must have been trillions [or gazillions] to start with?

          • In May of 2015 the global population of Polar Bears was put at 20,000 – 32,000. So sorry SS, there are just not enough bears to go around. If you're going to spout these kind of statistics, then choose a creature that is more numerous than the global human population (7 billion). Like fleas or ants, for example. Though I don't think they are quite as cute and cuddly.

" There must have been trillions [or gazillions] to start with?"

Of course. I have many Polar Bear friends. Trouble is, there's so many of them – they come here in little boats, taking our jobs and claiming benefits. Our services can no longer cope…

    • I don't know….  he has been pretty consistent in his leg pulling game if that's what he's at?  It's very hard to understand how he could possibly believe this stuff, particularly as it all stemmed from a film?

  4. I always wondered why that polar bear on the iceberg looked so pissed off. I never realised that SHS was killing several billion of his mates every day…

  5. “What will your grandchildren think years after you are gone? Just imagine them standing in their front garden with a 1250 ft Climate Change induced Tsunami coming towards them?”

I guess they’ll be thinking something in the lines of “oh ….!” I doubt they’ll have time for more.
