The Fluoride Anomaly
A wee item caught my eye last week.
There is a move, albeit a very small one, to have Fluoride removed from our water supply.
I have mentioned before how the water here is virtually undrinkable because of the shit the council puts in it. Even just turning on the tap can fill the room with the stench of chemicals, so any move to clean our water up a bit is OK in my book.
What bemused me though was the lack of research into the effects of this Fluoride.
So here we have a dubious chemical which is forced by law into every man woman and child in the state whether we like it or not.
The point I would make is this. There are whole careers funded by "research" into smoking, passive smoking and now electronic cigarettes. It only has to look like a cigarette and there are immediate "studies" to prove how harmful [!] it is. Yet when it comes to Fluoride, the Health Nazis remain completely silent. Why? If they are so concerned with our health, why aren’t they demanding extensive research into Fluoride? Apparently it contains lead, arsenic and mercury [all known to be extremely dangerous], yet they scream blue murder about the likes of Formaldehyde [which they love telling us is used for embalming] which is also used in vaccinations?
So on the one hand we have the Health Fascists shouting such nonsensical "facts" about how thirty seconds of exposure to cigarette smoke can cause a heart attack, yet they are quite happy to allow dubious chemicals to be forced on us through our water supply.
Why?
Because they are brainless idiots with attention of a gnat (very sorry, gnats), and could not distinguish between genuine, unbiased research and the usual crap spouted by the great unwashed,sandal-wearing bloody idiots who now pass for government advisors.
It's another finger pointing at the fact that the Fascists don't give a damn about our health unless they can line their own pockets.
Because it started in the USA as a way to make money by pretending this stuff was good for people, and forcing water companies to use what was otherwise a waste product which was difficult and expensive for the chemical industry to get rid of.
Yes, flouride is a by-product of aluminium processing if memory serves.
The Ultimate Solution [pun intended] – just fuck it into the drinking water.
I just fill a plastic bottle with tap water and leave it in the fridge for a few hours. That makes it quite palatable for topping up whisky with. Alternatively just stick with neat whisky..
My Dad had a built in water filtration system installed under the sink. A very impressive setup by all accounts. You should see the amount of gunk and shite in those filters when they’re replaced.
I’d be very interested to find out as to whether fluoride can be filtered out.
…..Probably not.
Filters that remove fluoride : http://www.propurproducts.com
I had a look at some filters. The problem here is that there is nowhere I could fit one in the kitchen. It would have to be mounted in the garage or somewhere inconvenient.
Anyway I don't see why the fuck I should be put to the expense when it is up to the council to stop putting that shit in my water in the first place.
Fluoride…..piece a cake…..We got loads of radiation shit from Windscale (Sellafield) in 1957 and later a dose from Chernobyl. Did'nt do any of us any harm.
Any if you were in Galway and some other nice places in Ireland, you'd get some fresh Cryptosporidium.
I think I'd prefare the fluoride mmmmmm

Dunno wot happened der. Musta bean da Uranium…yum
What about all the radiation from Windscale and Chernobyl….did'nt do us any harm.
We're luck we don't have to drink the 'shit' water they have in Galway heh!
Plutonium…2**==++1!!%^&*()":,<>±:-) ;-))))OMG !)%^&*(Jasus!
Jayzus, Slab! What the fuck have you been drinking?
Sometime in the early 1960s period a Dublin housewife named Ryan took a high court action against the intended government policy of fluoridination of the public water supply. The action went on a long time and expert witnesses testified. Mrs. Ryan lost the action. A lawyer for the state said that foreign, presumably USA, anti-fluoride organisations had paid for Mrs. Ryan's legal expenses. I doubt whether this legal precedent could be reversed. I'm not a law expert.
I don't see why it shouldn't be reversed. Laws can be changed, amended or even repealed at any time. I must say I was surprised to hear that Ireland is the only country in Europe that has such a law. Crazy!
A while back, I was having a conversation with my dental hygienist. Somehow we got on the subject of hiking in the mountains. I mentioned that I grew up drinking water straight out of river near my grandmothers house.
"What about the chemicals?" She pleaded with trepidation.
I reminded her that there are probably just as many chemicals in tap water. She said that they are controlled. I then reminded her that once "drugs", like fluoride, are put into the water table there is no way to "Control" how much an adult or child intakes. Once she grasped the idea, she was speechless. Other than the obvious, that is one of the main problems with adding chemicals or drugs to water. There is no way of knowing how much water an adult or child may drink. Intriguing post, Grandad. 🙂
Not only is there no control on quantities, but there is no control on age either. How many people realise that when they are bottle feeding their infant, that they are feeding it Fluoride?
