She reckons she was groped by a drunken female RTE “star”?

With all due respects to the woman but she has made a few errors here.

For one thing, there are no “stars” in RTE.  There are those who fancy they are “stars” and without exception, they are the ones to avoid like the plague.  I knew most if not all of the people there and in the main they were ordinary decent people.  There was only one “big name” who fancied himself as a “star” an he was an utter cunt.  But no names, no pack drill as they say.

We all know the concept of beer goggles but quite honestly if I were smashed out of my gourds to the point of near unconsciousness, I would probably make a pass at a filing cabinet before contemplating a grope with Ms King.  I’m sure she’s a lovely person but…..  Maybe this person of the Lesbian Persuasion was trying to disgust herself into going straight?  We’ll never know.

I grant that there was quite a lot of sexual shenanigans in RTE.  It was not unusual to hear the sounds of hot sexual passion emanating from within the dressing rooms.   Frequently items of female intimate attire would be found discarded behind the stacks in the library.  The equipment racks in Engineering could have quite a story to tell, and as for the Radio Centre basement…….!

But that all stopped in 2001 when I took early retirement.
