Where is February?
There is something very strange going on.
Christmas was around eight or nine weeks ago. It must have been that long because I left the tree up for a couple of weeks after and it’s about six weeks since I finally binned everything.
Then a few weeks later there was a Super Blood Wolf Hippopotamus Pink Moon that everyone raved about [I didn’t see it. I have seen the moon lots of times]. That was several weeks ago as well.
My next door neighbours who live in America decided to move back after three years. They said they were returning mid January, and they have been there for a few weeks now. I know that because they called in last night.
So why the fuck is it still January?
How do they do it? Do the calendars reset back a few days every night? The date on my laptop says it’s the 28th but I swear it said that several days ago.
What the hell is going on?
Is this an EU thing?
Not an EU thing exclusively. I live in “Merica” and January always seems to drag on FOREVER!
Groundhog day:- it means Juncker can continue to get piddled – on the same booze.
Christmas doesn’t finish until Candlemas – next Saturday
Since you are eight hours or so ahead of us, could you let me know when it finally arrives?
Oh the hell with January and February and as long as we’re at it, the hell with most of March. I hate winter! Give me 75degf and sunshine and I’ll be happy.
It’s not an EU thing as it was the 28th of January here as well. This is why I’ve always called January, February and March, “The Long Haul”. Apparently, I’m not the only one to see it that way (and the older I get the longer the haul is).
I saw a moon and Jupiter and Venus this morning, I think. My granddaughter asked me if Venus is the same size as the moon so I must have seen it. Looking in the Almanac of things in the sky it confirms we are in the end of January.
