  1. I know what you're saying, Grandad, but it's a day for venting ones spleen about governments who have been failing for years to keep their citizens safe, whose behaviour, indeed, endangers the safety of citizens.

  2. We saw last night what they were trying to escape – societies dominated by religious nutters, men who make John Charles McQuaid look like a trendy liberal.

  3. Having given the whole matter some thought, I have come to the conclusion that there is sweet fuck all anyone can do about the terrorism thing.

    Close the borders and condemn genuine refugees?  Leave the borders open and allow the terrorists in?  Do nothing and just let them bomb away?  Fight back and incite a massive recruitment drive for the terrorists?

    These nut cases want a war with the west.  It is their proof that they are the victims in a "holy war", so if we fight back, it provides that proof.  If we do nothing they will just commit more atrocities in order to goad us into fighting back.

    I don't know what the answer is.
