I’m sure you couldn’t care less what I have been up to for the last couple of days.

Nevertheless, I am going to tell you.

After the disastrous explosion and fire that wrecked my database, I have been sifting through the rubble trying to find salvageable bits, and have been piecing those bits together.

Rather than patch up this site, I have created a new one from scratch [with just a little help from my technical advisor].  The new site is now up and running but there is one slight problem – I have to update it with all the crap that’s in this one.

The Other Fella reckons the best way to do this is to shut down this site for a while.

I said no.

So we have compromised.

We aren’t going to shut the site down, but what we are going to do is to plead with you all not to leave any comments on the site until we say so.

Anything you do say will be taken down and used as evidence lost in the transfer.

We dunno how long all this will take.  Could be hours?  Could be days? Or weeks?

In the meantime, there is a new kid on the block.  Dunno how I found it but take a look….
