Going beyond the infinite
Good Morning Grandad,
Good Afternoon to you too, Supershadow.
Only you could make light (in a very crude sort of way) Â the historical passing of the celestial
object know as âOumuamuaâ. Of course I am referring to you article Â
Holy Shit https://headrambles.com/page/3/#.WjrMynnLjIU
I suppose I am kind of unique? You have to admit though that it does look like a massive turd?
You think this is an accident? you think Stephen Hawking warned of the dangers of contacting aliens recently  just out of the blue?  OR that Ridley Scott has just released a deleted scene from Prometheus which is clearly a warning and an indication Scott knows more about what is going on in the world than he is letting on..
People have been talking about aliens coming since the dawn of time. Just out of interest – I notice that the large bulk of your beliefs seem to come from films – do all films have hidden meanings or just the ones you watch? You need to be very wary about science fiction. Just look at the horror and bullshit that is Scientology.
It all goes back to understanding what the Jedi religion is about:
Risk Free Atheism.
Avoiding that Event Horizon that would cause us to leave this existence.
Risk free Atheism? Are there forms of atheism that aren’t risk free; and are in fact dangerous?
Trans-humanist like Ray Kurzweil and Star wars Creator George Lucas are atheists but fear death in case there is a celestial deity on the other side who will judge them on their earthly life.
Are you confusing Atheism and Agnosticism here?
So what you may ask would Lucas have done in his life to warrant this fear.? The answer is Greed. The following truths are NOT in the public domain. (for obvious reasons):
Â
 1. When the 1999 Star wars  film “The phantom menace” failed to overtake the 1997 film ‘Titanic’ by 400 million, Lucas was furious and blamed half hearted star wars fans for not watching enough repeat showings.
That extra $ 400 million would have got Lucas a new 50-foot yacht, several Lamborghinis and a huge mansion in Monaco. Wouldnât you be upset? I certainly would be.
Why would I be furious at not having a 50-foot yacht or several Lamborghinis? I don’t want either. I have my Ford Focus which serves me perfectly [when the battery isn’t playing up]. If I had an extra $400 million, I wouldn’t know what to do with it. I’d probably give it away as I am not interested in wealth for wealth’s sake. That’s a mug’s game.
2. Lucas is worth billions of dollars yet he gives little to charitable interests. Of course, Lucas does have the George Lucas Educational Foundation that does a little  good. Lucas  is stingy and wonât share his wealth.
It’s his money. He can do what he likes with it. I don’t care.
3. Lucas has stated many times off the record Star Wars is  about money. The escapism just is a side effect.
Let’s just stop here a minute? I thought you and he were virtually joined at the hip? Closest friend and advisor and all that shit? Now you are turning on him and accusing him of being stingy?
Even worse, you are admitting that Star Wars is just escapism? That surely is unadulterated heresy to a Jedi?
4. When Harrison ford wanted to kill off Han solo in “return of the Jedi” Lucas refused as it would mean loss of revenue in Han solo action figures.
Â
Approaching 80 years of age and living a life of greed has caused Lucas to fear being  judged in the next life.
He no longer has confidence in Transhumanist Ray kurzweils claim that immortality will be ready by 2045 using quantum technology  and this once again brings us back to the Mirader.
Boy but you really have it in for poor George!
I told you once before that if you pray, to pray not for a lambourghni or a yacht but simply pray night and day that these malevolent overlords will continue to merely observe our little planet..
Read my lips. I couldn’t give a flying shite [even one as big as Oumuamua] about cars or yachts. The idea that I would pray for them says a lot more about you than me.
Just to recap what the Journal of the Whill (The Jedi bible says about the Mirader)
Â
“Trillions and trillions of years ago in the long forgotten past, the giant jelly fish-type entities know as the Miraders (the greatest of all extraterrestrial alien civilizations ) were the first ultra super mega genius flesh and blood species to rise from the absolute darkness of the great nothingness.
The Miraders developed highly and massively godlike computer minds in the manner of brilliant robot machines, which could create even much, much greater artificial constructs as the evolution of intelligence exploded completely out of control. Eventually, Mirader could monitor, record and control every microscopic particle on their planet and in their local star system.
Over the space of 7000 trillion years the Mirader Empire developed sophisticated ways to cheat death. And become immortal.
They developed the technology to get a glimpse of the past and even some of the future. However, this is a very imprecise power because it takes an infinite amount of power to travel in time. The further backwards or forward in time the more power it takes.”
Er….. okay……..
[Footnote here – It takes infinite power to travel in time, but it takes more to travel further? More than infinity?]
So in essence Grandad the Miraders have conquered millions of sentient worlds. They literally have a presence in every star system in the Universe. Their technology is beyond belief. Anything is possible for them. No matter what you may think about extraterrestrials, you are wrong. The Miraders are like nothing that the Human mind can conceive of.
Bugger! And here was I thinking they all looked like ET.
If it took the Mirader 7000 Trillion years to achieve immortality how the hell will Kurzweil and his motley crew at google do it by 2045?
Time travel?
As a result the Jedi and Transhumanists have been firing radio signals  at the Orion Cygnus arm of the Milky way which is believed to be the closest Mirader outpost.
Hold on. The nearest outpost is Orion Cygnus? I thought they were everywhere?
Lucas and Kurzweil hope to bargain with the Mirader for the technology that will give them eternal life. And this is my fear Grandad. what have they got to bargain with? I do know Lucas would gladly sell and sell his soul to whoever and whatever will continue to accept it as payment for absolute control over any and all aspects of his mortality. And of course Time travel is the holy grail of all technological progress. If you could travel in time, you could see the birth of the Universe itself or the end of time.
Â
Personally I think the Miraders would find it all so amusing  because they see the  Human soul having no intrinsic value and will simply conquer the earth one molecule at a time.
We signed our death warrant when we blasted voyager 2 in to space in 1977.
It’s a bit late to do anything about that. Unless we invent time travel?
Remember grandad on arrival these extraterrestrials will have your city and others  in their cross-hairs, so better move now  to North Carolina.
North Carolina? Why North Carolina? Why not Glendoher?
In many ways I feel sorry for that Vicar who comments on your posts from time to time. How will he react with a 15 mile long Mirader star ship hovering over his church. Asa friend he will need you more than ever when that time comes. All his certainties now mere question marks.
I’ll let him answer that one. Heh!
At least with Lucas gone no one can accuse me of being his Alter Ego. Yes, thousands of people believe that I was George Lucas more than a decade ago. The big difference is that Lucas is fat and ugly while I have the looks of a Greek god, even now. Thatâs how you can tell that Iâm not Lucas.
Go on then. Send us a photo.
Have a pleasant (Mirader free) Christmas
Â
Kindest,
Supershadow
Aw thanks Supershadow. I hope you have a pleasant one too. I’d wish you a peaceful new Year too, but you probably run on a different calendar to the rest of us?
Grandad
PS I left out the links you put at the bottom. Fucking YouTube plays havoc with web pages. Sorry.

Infinity is simple(ish) to understand. More than infinity takes a little effort. Here’s a youtube video to help you on your way. I’m still trying to get my head round it. Enjoy.

Nah! You’re taking the easy way out. There is a natural tendency to think of infinity in terms of numbers because that is what we are used to. Infinity transcends all numbering systems and literally cannot be defined. The old paradox of Infinity + 1 is an example. That’s is trying to rationalise one system using another. Infinity is just that – it is infinite. It has no size or dimension so nothing can be bigger than it, seeing as “bigger” implies dimensions.
How long is the edge of the ring on my finger? The natural response is to measure its circumference which is converting the problem to a known mathematical formula. The actual answer is that the edge is infinite, as you can keep moving along it until hell freezes over – you can never reach the end because there is no end.
It’s easy really.
What I want to know is if there was a Big Bang and the universe is expanding, what is it expanding into? What is beyond the edge of the universe? Where did the big bang happen?
At the Big Bang everything was infinitesimally small. So the answer to “Where did the Big Bang happen?” is the title of a Beatles song: “Here, There and Everywhere”.
My head hurts. 🙁
It’s all only a theory anyway. Probably easier to think up a different theory?
You mean, like the theory that xxxxxxxxx million smokers worldwide die prematurely each year?
😉
No. You’re confusing theory with bullshit which is a different thing altogether.
Looks pretty similar up close 😉
