Thinking ahead
Life has been very quiet here at the Manor.
The more astute of you may have gathered this when yesterday I started on about elections. That’s really scraping the barrel.
But when I say nothing has happened, I mean just that. No visitors, no visits to hospitals and nary a sight of a doctor. Two visits to the coffee shop where t was fucking cold but they were a joy nevertheless.
The coming week may be a little more exciting with the possibility of providing a little light relief on this site. I have two hospital visits, tomorrow and Wednesday and then a trip over to St James’s on Friday for a scan. I just this second received a text reminding me of a Radiology appointment in St Vincent’s next Monday which is the first I have heard of it. They keep doing that. They remind me of a appointment I never heard of, or even more interesting, they cancel a non-existent appointment. St James’s has a different system – they wrote to me telling me I have the appointment on Friday and saying that if I get a text cancelling the appointment I am to ignore it. So why send me a text? And if the appointment is canceled how will I know? They just love fucking with my head.
And Friday is also [God help us] election day. At least all those news items will vanish from our screens. I’m sick to the tooth at the sight of Cunt Harris and his furrowed brow. Fucking idiot. I suppose that last sentence labels me as Far Right and a lawbreaker?
Incidentally it looks like the Scriblerus/Raccoon website problem may be solved. Negotiations have commenced. My people are meeting his people. There is no mention of a trillion dollars fund.
Things are looking up.
It’s a bit different for me with medical appointments. If the VA makes an appointment for me and then a couple days before said appointment sends me a reminder, I’d better damn well believe it. They (the VA) get a bit ugly if I miss an appointment without notifying them ahead of time.
