I’m a bit of a messer.

I like to mess around with new things just to see what they can do. It might be a new bit of software or a gadget for the Manor. Anything new has to be disassembled to see how it works and then reassembled. That’s a handy way of gaining a few spare screws, nuts or bolts.

I had a go at the artificial text generator and was reasonably impressed. I got bored with it though which is the normal outcome.

I have been hearing a lot lately about AI image generation. There was even an item on the news which showed Trump being arrested and the Pope looking like a drug dealer. It was time to try a bit of messing myself.

I found a site. I gave it a simple instruction. “Make a photograph of me”. You can’t get simpler than that?

In fairness, it’s not bad. I generally don’t look that grumpy or maybe it just caught me in a thoughtful mood. The hair is wrong – you wouldn’t catch me dead with a “man-bun” – and I’m not receding at the temples like that.

It could be me though. At a pinch. With eyes half closed. In a bad light. On a Monday morning.

There is definitely a glimmer of me in there…
