I came across a programme last night by accident.

I had just been flicking through all the dross which is broadcast in the name of entertainment. We were tired of antiques and auctioneers and people restoring old buildings. Pickings were very thin on the ground, as usual.

I accidentally found “The Piano”. Apparently Channel 4 had put a piano in four locations and invited the public to play. The four best were invited to play a concert at the Royal Festival Hall. They were pretty good [obviously] but they voted Lucy as the best.

Lucy is no ordinary kid. She’s thirteen, blind and autistic. She obviously can’t read music so has to play by ear. Keep those factors in mind if you listen to her play.
