An amazing coincidence
I see war has broken out in County Limerick again.
It was in Patrickswell this time. That’s a few miles up the road from Rathkeale.
Let’s look at the scenario… Violence? Cars damaged? Baseball bats? A hammer? Fighting in the main street outside pubs? Two groups of men?
THREE MEN IN their 20s have been arrested following an incident of assault and violent disorder that happened after a large crowd gathered in a Limerick town last night.
A large crowd? In a little Limerick village in the middle of nowhere?
In a normal civilised society we can’t countenance this, and it is becoming a trend of late. People have to be able to live their lives in their home towns without this kind of disorder happening.
But they claim they are a separate ethnic group with their own “laws and traditions”. They don’t want to have anything to do with the rest of us and our so called civilised society.
To my uneducated, untrained mind I would say this was just a continuation of the Knackers just carrying on their traditional Christmas celebrations of beating the shite out of each other. They just moved up the road a bit. It is after all the time of year where families congregate in a poisonous mix of alcohol and ancient rivalries. No better time to sort out old feuds? Last night was just round 2 [or more likely round 222? These feuds last for generations].
But wait….
Rathkeale, where a number of vehicles were written off on Monday in a ramming incident, is just a 20 minute drive away. The two incidents do not appear to be connected.
Oh?
