I was going to scribble something yesterday.

But I couldn’t.

I don’t know what the cause was but I couldn’t even get into the site or its engine room.

I go dozens of emails first telling me the site was down, followed a while later saying it was up again. The moment I tried to access it, it went down again. The error messages meant nothing which was a tad irritating.

It has quietened down today and is behaving itself. The response time has dropped from twelve or more seconds to a respectable one second. If it starts acting up again I may have to think about moving it to a different shed. I don’t want to do that as something nearly always seems to break and I always have a few screws left over.

Maybe I can blame the Chinese? I know Putin gets blamed for most things but China is now consistently my second biggest readership by far. I don’t know why I am so popular over there. Maybe I’m the only site on the planet that hasn’t been blocked on the Chinese Great Wall?

Anyways, now I have forgotten what I was going to say yesterday.

But I’m sure it would have been brilliant.
