Eyeing the future — 5 Comments

  1. I think it’s normal once we reach a certain age to have a potential cataract ‘developing’. Almost everyone I know who has regular tests gets the same message.
Actually you were short changed in the dealing with everything at once department, I always get squirted with eye drops for the eyeball selfies which means I can’t drive myself home.

    • I wasn’t short changed at all. I had the eye drop [the yellowy orange ones] that made everything look very bright. Drove home after but to be on the safe side kept my speed below 70mph on the motorway…. 🙂

  2. I do hope you left herself inside with proper buds? Cuts out the noise, esp if you put cotton wool in.

  3. I was told I had possible cataracts developing about 27 years ago. I was told the impact would be that I would dazzle more easily some 20-30 years hence. I still don’t have any sign of a problem.

My father had a similar thing, and I took a close interest in it because I’m a very close copy of him in many respects. He had an operation about 10 years ago, and it wasn’t too bad.
