Breeding a virus
There are many things I fail to understand about modern life.
We know that modern Yoof is an entirely different species from a couple of generations ago, even to the point of having their own breeds – Homo Millennial, Homo Snowflake or even Homo Bovidae [look it up].
One of the things that regularly crops up is this business of “viral”. What the fuck is that? Someone sticks a photograph or a video on the Interwebs and apparently “going viral” is the desired aim, but what is it?
I have put a few videos up in my time. Some of them have actually had more than a couple of views. and one in particular has managed to accumulate nearly 13,500 views over the years it has been there, but is this viral? Is there a target that one has to achieve?
Now I couldn’t give a flying shite if I have been sitting on a “viral video” all these years without even knowing it, but others seem to lay great store by it.
So what exactly does “viral” mean?
Just wondering……
Easy. ‘Viral’ is short for : “Only watched by those with the IQ of your average virion or below”.
Fair enough. Sounds about right.
Here’s one that’s very amusing indeed. In my most humble opinion.

Two Dutch lads horsing around with an original Fiat 500 in quite deep snow!
Maybe Homo Ovidae?
