  1. My heart is filled with joy to see your post so soon. You are tough and an inspiration.

  2. A pair of monocles? Goggles with prescription lenses? That’s trivia.
What matters is that you’re on the road back, you may have sensed the sighs of relief we’ve all exuded out here.
Well done, pal, just keep improving.

  3. At least the old brain is fully functioning (yours, not mine) – you’ve got me wondering how a physio can help after your op – I can’t imagine the exercises needed! – oh! they must be for your neck…

I’m sure Heath Robinson designed a glasses holder for people w/o a nose – perhaps we out here can come up with something!

Seriously, it’s good to learn you’re getting along well, Keep it up!

    PS How do you smell?
    (sorry, couldn’t resist)

  4. What about a lorgnette suspended from an elastic band of the type used for holding a head light ?

I imagine my head light — by Blue Mountain — would be adaptable.

  5. You are on your way to recovery grandad. New things to learn, new things to get used to.

  6. Fantastic news, delighted to hear you’re back in business and survived the operation

  7. Great to have you back scribing, noses are greatly overrated I’ve always thought .

    Bear up and keep going.

  8. I am overjoyed to hear this. Such very good news.
    Give ‘em hell!
And I’m so happy you are with us, on the right side, and soon to improve greatly.

  9. Good to see you back. Many mobile phones will now allow you to transcribe speech into text although to results can be erratic.

Perhaps one of your assigned somethingorothers can be persuaded to take dictation – for the sake of your mental health of course.
