Moral of the story? Never take adorable dogs on a hunting trip. Also, make sure the safety is on when not using your hunting rifle…just in case an adorable dog happens to show up and wants a “cuddle”.
Maybe now he’ll stick with cuddling dogs instead of shooting deer?

Who the hell uses dogs and a shotgun to hunt deer? Scout your terrain and know where they move to and from. Setup a tree stand or do some good old fashioned ground hunting but for Gods sake use a rifle. One shot one kill!
