Déjà vu
Once again, I have escaped.
It was quite easy this time as it was just a matter of sowing the seeds of confusion.
You see, I now have two sections in the hospital taking charge of my care. There is ENT who did the operation and are concerned with the healing processes there, and there is Oncology who are to look after the cancer. Initially ENT were the masters who dictated my fate but the baton is now being passed to Oncology.
My escape technique was simple. I told Oncology that ENT had cleared me for release and I told ENT that Oncology had done the same. Seeing as the two sections seem to have great difficulty in communication with each other, the ensuing confusion meant I could do a runner.
So here I am, back in the Manor.
There is one difference this time however. For some reason my legs don’t work properly. I head off in one direction and my legs go off at a random tangent. As a result I have had a few near misses where I nearly ended in a heap on the floor. It’s weird and a little disconcerting. There is one possibility here. My first stint in hospital left me with a nice dose of C Diff [or whatever it’s called] and the is now the possibility that they graced me with a dose of CJD.
Do I now have Mad Cow Disease?
Well done in confusing the bureacracy – You definitely ticked ALL their boxes. Did Daughter have to sneak you out covered in a blanket? I hope you were humming the tune from the film as you went through the doors. I’m sure you had a great welcome home, and at least you’ll be able to practice walking about in a place you know – much better!
Too clever for words … boy then dun a runner.
Not near as complicated as a prison break, the guards were helping you.
A cunning stunt, some would say, carefully.
A right stunner.
