Nothing to worry about here
I had a meeting in the hospital yesterday.
It was a sort of introduction to the joys of Immunotherapy.

???
and you have to put up with this for the next how many years? I expect you’ll be able to collect the whole lot by the end of that time – is there a prize? (apart from beating the ******).
After all you did for Penny(?) and all you do for Herself, it seems to be your turn to have somebody looking after you,
Good luck with it all,
PS at least you won’t suffer from no 49!
It’s funny but 49 jumped out at me too. It’s an interesting point – if I catch a cold what happens when I have no nose to run?
My dog has no nose…
You’ll just have to use your feet like the rest of us. 🙂
No mention of death, so go for it.
They say death comes with not going for it. But they did say that nose cancer is not a death sentence. I’ll try it anyway. These lists of side effects always look scary anyway.
They will list any possible side effects in order to keep the lawyers happy.
Did they warn you that you can feel fine after the infusion but about the third day the effects can start? My friend ended up in hospital but six months later she is ok now so you just have to get through the early stages though not everyone is badly affected. Hopefully you will be lucky and handle it with the same courage you have handled everything else life has thrown at you this year. Best wishes.
I am under strict instructions to report immediately any side effects so they can be treated independently. They did comment [several times] in the hospital that I seemed to have a fairly robust constitution, so here’s hoping….
robust constitution must be a bit of an understatement after all your years of ‘healthy’ living! It’d be a tough old bug (or side effect) that’d get the better of you!
The commonist 1 to 10 (excluding 9) sound like the after effect of a night on the Guinnesss
When Yer Wan in the hospital was reading some of the side effects, I nodded each time and replied that yes – I have that already. She didn’t understand old age!
Many of the things on those lists are things that happen anyway, especially at your (our) advanced old age. 😉 I suppose it will be handy to have something else to blame them on.
Proof that there is an up-side to everything.
The “Common” list just appears to be a “boiler plate” list they slap on to any medicine or medical procedure. I suppose you noticed how many things in the list contradict each other?
