One two three
Ireland is in the throes of election fever.
I did actually vote yesterday and what’s more I confess I voted for that smarmy bollicks Simon Harris.
Before anyone accuses me of hypocrisy I should explain a little about our PR system.
There were eighteen candidates in this constituency vying for just three seats. The ballot paper is long to put it mildly. Voting is done in order of preference. So instead of just marking your preference with an X, you number your order of preference. So Cunt Harris did indeed get my vote at number eighteen.
Counting has only just started but there are a couple of possible trends emerging
Our Minister for Health could be in trouble and may get chucked out. It couldn’t happen to a nicer bloke. I am so proud of Wicklow.
A newcomer in Dublin – “The Monk” Hutch – is polling very well. He is one of the leading lights in the Hutch gang which is one of Ireland’s notorious drugs gangs. A criminal will fit in very well in the Dáil
The Green Party seems to be in dire trouble. My heart bleeds custard.
So who did I give my top preference to?
Why, Charlie Keddy of course.
He always gets my vote. I like the look of him. He always stands as a candidate in a general election and never gets elected. I don’t agree with with his manifesto but that’s not important.
God loves a tryer.
Grandad,
Off topic:
Has it happened to you? My Firefox updated to 133 and decided to put the tab bar back on top.
So far, the css file fixes I’ve found, that seem to work for a few folk, don’t work for me.
The search for a fix continues.
Stay well my friend.
It did indeed happen. Really fucking irritating!
I managed to fix it in the end and wrote up my fix here. I don’t know if you found that [the link is on my sidebar] or if it’s the version you tried?
Grandad,
I hadn’t seen that one. Bless you Sir, it worked.
I’ll sleep easy now: Until the next time…
Grandad,
I think I’ve spotted why other fixes didn’t work.
Copy new css, open old css in Notepad, select all and delete, paste new css and close Notepad.
See the step I do believe I’ve been skipping? Yup, bloody Save…
Isn’t old age a wondrous thing? Or am I really as dumb as a rock?
Sorry, I have been missing out on News from the Manor, mostly due to spending spare time sleeping!
Charlie Keddy seems a decent skin. I wouldn’t agree with him, but there are a lot of people whom I like but with whom I would disagree.
PS I thought the lady of the manor quite liked the health minister?
