  1. At least you woke up, think positive. Now see what the medics can make of it all.
Sending virtual grapes if that helps.

  2. My guess would be low blood pressure as I had exactly the same experience late last year.

  3. With all you’ve been going through, it’s not surprising the old/young body says, ‘Oh bollocks, let’s have a lie down and take stock’!

Plenty of time for both of you to get better!

  4. I comment infrequently but read your scribbling and entertaining wisdom often.

This time I felt compelled to let you know I am here and think about you often. The stress of all these recent happenings must be impossible to bear. It’s about time those pesky aliens in their spacecraft did something useful to lend a hand.

To be, or not to be: that is the question:
Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer
The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune,
Or to take arms against a sea of troubles,
    And by opposing end them

You did right by Penny. Stay strong and all the best to both you and herself

  5. You are really not having much luck at the moment. Regarding the latest medical episode it might be worth asking them to check the adverse reactions listed for the contrast they used for your MRI this week, some are worse than others. Hope you are on the mend soon.

  6. Thinking of Penny and hoping you’ll be better soon.
By the Grace of God all things will be OK (if only we could understand how)

  7. I’m thinking and praying for you and Herself. They’re all good vibes coming from across the pond

  8. In a way Penny’s passing at this time is a blessing, if both you and your good lady were hospitalised and your beloved companion was still here she would have missed you so much it would have been unbearable for her and probably caused you more stress related problems knowing this. Sometimes good comes from bad, I think it is so in this case, I know if I were in your present situation I would rather be grieving than worrying, I hope you both are soon back home fit and well.

  9. Best thoughts to you and Herself from me and my honey. That being said, it’s a heck of a way to stay near Herself during her hospitalization when it would have been much easier just to drive down to the hospital instead.

    Thinking of you both,

    Kirk M.

  10. I am now getting rather concerned about head rambles aka grandad. I sincerely hope he is ok.

    • This certainly seems an unprecedented hiatus, but after his recent travails Grandad deserves some recuperation time. Hopefully he has someone advocating for him in hospital. Thoughts and prayers are with him.
