Peak what?
I watched the weather forecast after the early evening news yesterday.
It’s about the only interesting thing on television these days.
The forecast was given by Joanna who’s a lively wee lass and she likes to explain a bit about what’s causing the weather we’re to get. I like Joanna. She explained how there was a blocking high over Europe [about time!] and that this was keeping any bad weather out at sea to the west. Apparently it’s peak hurricane season in the Atlantic at this time of year.
Now Herself had been messing with the remote control again and had put up subtitles on the programme. My guess is that they use a speech recognition piece of software to convert the sound to text.
I was a little taken aback when I saw its interpretation of the peak hurricane season.
It’s party time!
Big “H” over the fatherland. I suppose that means the trains are all on time?
Heil in the East and hail in the West?
