Podcast – 2
This has been one hell of a week.
I have been out and about just about every day, and when haven’t been out I have been drawing maps, diagrams and taking photographs for a wee project. I also discovered to my cost that I couldn’t email to Gmail addresses which required quite a bit of trickery. Between all that and the loss of a night’s sleep I haven’t had much time for messing around on the Interwebs
Anyhows, it’s raining and I actually have nowhere to go today so I’m taking things easy.and ligean mo scÃth, as they say around these parts.
I fancy a drop of sound.
This next track is a good oldie, going back to ’77 [46 years? Fuck! How time flies]. I like it for the guitar work and it’s a nice catchy tune. It’s also a grand foot-tapper. I reaised when I was compiling my list that a lot of them are great foot tappers.
Enjoy!
As you say, very pleasant guitar/mandolin, (?), and his voice seems quite high judging by the endanglement of appendages in the pic…
For the record, my favourite by them is ‘Jigsaw puzzle Blues’…
I would tend to go for guitar, judging by live performances on YouTube. It sounds a bit overstrung all right.
There’s hardly anything on that disc that isn’t terrific.
I’ll drink to that. “Romours” is my favourite of theirs [and I have a few on disk.
I quite like some of the Fleetwood Mac offshoots too, like this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5i7j0VhEHw
Or Stevie on her own sang a song called ‘If you ever did believe’, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ymYJ65W6quU
