  1. Very sad news GD,I have been through the very same with a child of mine, so can understand how everyone in the family feels right now. But the strength your daughter has shown from the very beginning will carry her, and the family through this sad time. My thoughts are with you and yours.

    • Thanks Elwyn. The Natural Order is out of kilter when a man loses a child and even more so losing a grandchild.

  2. So sorry to hear of Sean’s passing. I never knew him, but having lost a young nephew some years ago, know of the sadness and heartache you must be going through. The world may be a sadder place, but the star ridden sky will be brighter.

    You lot stick together.
    Words are useless when you want to avoid cliche.

  4. My condolences. Having lost quite a few family members in the last few years (but not from viruses), I know the pain-of-loss acutely. It’s always worse when it seems unfair – the natural order seems overturned when one of a younger generation dies.

  5. Grandad, my heart aches for you and yours in the loss of this special child. I will look for his star tonight in the sky over my home.
