On being microchipped — 10 Comments

  1. I had the Pizer. Slight ache left arm for a day or so, nothing else.

    • Weird.  I didn't have so much as an itch.  When he took my blood sample before, my whole elbow turned lovely shades of red and purple.  I know it's a different kind of needle [into the vein and not the muscle] but still….

  2. I don't know which one the wife and I got, but other than a sore arm for a day or so; no issues for either of us. On the other hand, our son and daughter in law were laid low for a couple of days.

  3. I am so disappointed that most of my favourite bloggers have given into the propaganda.

So your Doctor turns up with a few hours notice (lucky you, here in the UK we’ve no chance) and you totally submit.

Hey BTW, better get your mask on next time you go to the coffee shop, as a non-vazzer, I will probably catch it from you.

And next on the agenda, grandchildren, oh and dogs and cats.

    • Ah! But this is the point.  I objected but Doc had to obey orders from above.  Did he actually inject or did he go through the motions to satisfy everyone?  It's very difficult to tell with Doc.  He's a great poker player.

  4. Well done! Do you realise, that for all the comparison talk about 1984, and how our freedoms are being removed and the vaccine is here to kill us, Winston, broken down in the end, SUBMITS! and finds peace and comfort.

"Two gin-scented tears trickled down the sides of his nose. But it was all right, everything was all right, the struggle was finished. He had won the victory over himself." And then, in one simple phrase, Orwell delivers one of the most heartbreaking lines in literature: "He loved Big Brother."

  5. I had Pfizer Part 1 on 24th February. School lessons were online at the time, so, having heard tales of woe, I arranged to teach from home the following day. It was embarrassing, there were no after effects whatsoever.

I have the second jab next Wednesday. I shall be in school as normal the next day.

  6. I remember a few posts back how you said how the doc was clued up. Keep up at the back.:-)

  7. I was going to write a book based on my reaction to the vaccine. I started but it went like this:

Jan 25 – no after effects

Apr 27 – no after effects

It needs a bit of padding. Or maybe I'll have to think of another subject for my Great British novel. 🙁
