A little meander on a Wednesday — 4 Comments

    • Woops!  Mea culpa.  Yes, that's the link and it is now in the correct place.  Thanks.

*Note to self – must check I am copying and pasting what I think I am copying and pasting*

  1. I had already read about the dog (off Facebook? Google news? Mind's going.) and I found the second story about the bloke more amusing than invoking pity. He threw the hard drive away in 2013 and he not only expected to find it but that he'd be able to access it? I think not. What some people wouldn't do for a measly couple hundred million.

The Flu story? Yah, sounds a bout right. Now here's a beaut. The US master medico, Fauci, (newly reinstated after Trump booted him) has stated that yes, we still have to wear masks and practice social distancing even if we get the vaccine. Why? Because while the vaccine definitely protects you from covid-19 it may not keep you from becoming infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus (the virus that causes covid-19). So basically what he's saying is they don't know if the vaccine works or not?

    How's that for a paradox?

  2. What paradoxes? Flu virus reacts to hand washing, social distancing and mask, Sars-Cov-2 does only combined with lockdowns and curfews. So there, solved.
