  1. You mean you didn't ask the strange man what he was doing on your garage roof?

I sometimes think your a bit odd.

But in a nice way of course.

How was the "screw" yesterday/ Satisfyingly slow I trust!!

    • I like to mind my business and he seemed happy where he was.  Why rock the boat?

      And the screw was clockwise.

  2. Smart dog to "fetch" a telephone repairman. Either that or GD recent crop was a tad bit more potent then usual.

      • Did you take a real close look at the repairman? I think you would have noticed the somewhat pointed nose and I don't think you could miss the tail, but you never know.

  3. Dogs and kids — they'll investigate anything new, but always come running back to be fed.

    • That's for sure.  Food is their basic requirement which is why it's so easy to train 'em by starving 'em.

  4. You think that's bad – we had a cat years ago called Caesar, a black tabby who slept in the back kitchen at night. We let him out one morning as usual, in 1971, and we have not seen him since. Mind you, around the same time, I had a date with a girl called Mary, and she excused herself during the second drink, to go to the loo, and I have not seen her since either.

Maybe she settled down with Caesar ?

    • With all due respects, I hope Caesar doesn't come back.  Thirty two year old cats tend not to smell very nice.  Maybe the same could be said for Mary too?

  5. I wish my first wife, now ex., would have gone for the morning paper and not come back.   But that was years ago.   Past history.

      • Once I could get the news on the interweb, it wasn't worth the bullshit to keep her around.  She would drink up all the booze and leave none for me.
