Europe Day
So today is Europe Day.
I suppose you think I am going to head off on a rant about Brussels?
I couldn’t be arsed.
I shall celebrate the day in the appropriate fashion.
So today is Europe Day.
I suppose you think I am going to head off on a rant about Brussels?
I couldn’t be arsed.
I shall celebrate the day in the appropriate fashion.
I had a couple of words to say on the subject:

Brevity. It works sometimes…..
CR.
Not only from me, but it’s a resounding “Fuck EU!!!” from Captain Ranty also:

Ah look. You could at least have cut it into little squares to make nice soft arse wipes.
Ranty – The two of us posted at about the same time. I saw yours just after, and had a wee chuckle. Seems like InisEanna did too.
And I see Max has much the same idea?
Mossy – Fuck off. I have respect for my arse.
There is one thing we have to admit though – the EU is very good at uniting people? Heh!
Nothing good ever started with burning flags. Ever.
‘Tis better than burning cars or shops?
Nigel Farage’s speech today in the EP.

Hah! Good old Nigel. Straight to the jugular as usual.
It will be books next.
You have to admire Farage although his speech there reminded me of Enoch Powell’s “Rivers of Blood” speech.
Farage is one of my great political heroes. I think that even if I disagreed with everything he said [which I don’t] I would still admire him for the one rarest of qualities – he’s not afraid to speak out, and isn’t in the least bit intimidated. Just compare him with our lot who will literally bankrupt the country in order to appease those in Brussels. They trot over to Brussels full of promises to renegotiate the crippling restrictions that are destroying our economy, and always return with the same line – Brussels says no.
Thanks for telling me about the auld Eurocrat Day, I had almost missed it only for ya!
Euro shower of wankers,
wankers are EU.
Not Green – As this site is a public service platform, I shall of course be applying for a grant from the EU. €500,000 should just about cover running costs?
Patrick – Not in favour of them then? Heh!
They might pay ya in Mozambique Oil Bonds!!
Hey, anyone else wondering why it’s taking old Napolean Sarkozy so long to recall the election? That’s what he usually does when he doesn’t like the outcome of a ballot.
Curious, No comments from Greece.
Not Green – Apparently because he is no longer in a privileged position, he is now liable for prosecutions as a “commoner”. He’s probably shacked up with his lawyer.
Slab – They finally and gracefully slid beneath the Mediterranean waves.

There. I disagree with him, but have a great respect for him for those reasons.
