  1. 😀  King Leah?

As You Like It (subtitle Provided You Comply With Current Political Correctness)

    Julia Caesar

Henry IV Part 1 and Henrietta Part 2 [ A tale of transgenderism in the 14th & 15th century]

Antonia and Cleopatra [ Lesbianism in Egypt]

    • The gift that keeps on giving!

I thought of “As You Like It” but seeing as the plot consists of a woman dressed as a man, that would be more in favour with cross-dressers, the gender-confused and other strange minorities?

      • Does that include “binary”?  Before you ask, not a fecking clue what that is but someone said they were that when asked by a wot-wot on the Beeb as to what they were.  They were obviously too thick to tell the Beeb to mind they’re own business.

Gilbert & Sullivan’s little known operetta HMS Overall.

Thinking about Shakespeare they shouldn’t have anything to complain if they perform it as they did when it was writ i.e. with boys playing the female roles.  (I nearly said parts instead of roles but that might be erm misunderstood??)

        • Maybe they were computer programmers?

If a woman plays a man’s part on stage, does that make her look a right prick?

    • Hah!  That is precisely the result of thinking PC instead of thinking logically.  Do I feel sorry for them?

    • So that little cunt is now advising Trump!  Who the fuck does he think he is [apart from Woman of the Year, of course]?

  2. If you were a white female in the USA then 53% of them voted for Trump.

If you were not then 54% of them voted for Mrs. C

I have to assume therefore that T’s lewd comments about broads simply washed off white females and of course the 46% of non-white voters who decided they’d rather have a real man in the White House, rather than a frumpy old cow whose hubby isn’t exactly faithful.

Anyway it’s a feminist writeup and thankfully very short.

    • There was even possibly a bit of reverse psychology at play during the campaign.  Trump said some fairly outrageous things and instead of being offended, the reaction was that here is someone who speaks his mind and thinks like an ordinary person instead of a politically correct machine.

  3. The play’s the thing wherein I’ll catch the conscience of the–queen.

O Ethel, Ethel! wherefore art thou Ethel?

It is the east, and Jerry is the sun. (Gender equality goes both ways, right?)

What’s in a name? That which we call a dandelion by any other name would smell as sweet. (Flower equality?)

Yond Cassiopeia has a lean and hungry look; She thinks too much: such women are dangerous. (Reminds me of my sister–who is not a feminist–she just thinks she’s better than anyone else.)

    For what it’s worth.

    • Heh!  As I said in my first comment, this is the gift that will keep on giving.  For a start, we can get Wilma Shakespeare onto the job of rewriting stuff?

  4. A woman in a hot air balloon realised she was lost. She reduced altitude and spotted a man below. She descended a bit more and shouted: ‘Excuse me, can you help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an hour ago but I don’t know where I am.’

The man below replied, ‘You’re in a hot air balloon hovering approximately 30 feet above the ground. You’re between 40 and 41 degrees north latitude and between 59 and 60 degrees west longitude.’

‘You must be an Engineer,’ said the balloonist.

‘I am,’ replied the man, ‘how did you know?’

‘Well,’ answered the balloonist, ‘everything you have told me is probably technically correct, but I’ve no idea what to make of your information and the fact is, I’m still lost. Frankly, you’ve not been much help at all. If anything, you’ve delayed my trip by your talk.’

The man below responded, ‘You must be in Management.’

‘I am,’ replied the balloonist, ‘but how did you know?’

‘Well,’ said the man, ‘you don’t know where you are or where you’re going. You have risen to where you are, due to a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise, which you’ve no idea how to keep, and you expect people beneath you to solve your problems. The fact is you are in exactly the same position you were in before we met, but now, somehow, it’s my fucking fault.’
