Global Cooling — 14 Comments

  1. Global drowning down here in County Cork. That is if the hurricane force winds don’t blow you away first.
    .-= robert´s last brainfart .. Synergy =-.

  2. Aw, c’mon, TT – You don’t still believe the earth is flat do you?  Despite the irrefutable evidence to the contrary?  Never mind.  I’m delighted to see that you realise that AGW is a hoax.

Robert – Never mind.  There is worse to come.

  3. They don’t call it ‘global warming’ anymore, because that’s obviously bollocks. It’s now ‘climate change’ which encompasses just about anything.

    Which is handy. For them.

  4. Yep. Gotta watch out for “them.” The little tinkers. (Good to see Twenty has time for your site even when he is too hungover to TCO his own.See his today’s post.)

  5. Twenty – Yes, that is very convenient all right.  When it turns out that it’s ‘Global Cooling’ after all, they can still claim they are right!

TT – I have even been know to drop into his site once or twice in the last few years.  We icons have to show mutual support.

  6. The world care’s not for sheep bleating consensus …..Still i sorta wish it did all this ice has screwed up my nightly walks,

hope you had a good Christmas grandad

  7. D – I am told I had a great Christmas, thanks.  😉

Keiron – I bet they weren’t as good as the Great Floods of 1968 in Somerset!!

  8. Judging by climates past (when humans had yet to come down from the trees and contribute their eensy-weensy bit of industrial muck to the pot) global warming/cooling was already occurring as a natural phenomenon, every few thousand years, or so. And will continue to do so long after humans have a). either blown themselves to smithereens in nuclear wars; or b). all had labotomies and learned to live in harmony with nature and each other.
.-= Geri Atric´s last brainfart .. HO! HO! HO! NOW ALREADY? =-.

  9. Geri – It’s strange how the AGW people have ignored the fact that in medieval times the climate was a lot warmer?  And that we had a mini ice age since then when the Thames froze over?  Selective collective amnesia?

  10. Kate – I wouldn’t mind a decent drop of snow.  All we are getting in this neck of the woods is horizontal freezing rain.  The rest of the country seems to be snowed under though.
